With increased weight load capacity, increased stability, and a new, slim profile design, version 2 of Black Bear Studio System's Track Levelers allow for filmmakers to quickly and efficiently level dolly track.

The Track Levelers attach to the cross members of any commercially available dolly track and lock down using the tension bars. The new tension bar design allows for flush-fit on the track crossmembers, leaving ample room for track wheels to pass overhead and allowing the Levelers to be used with any combination of professional commercially available track wheels and dolly track. The dual tension bar design allows for maximum stability by clamping the crossmembers at both sides of the track rails. Level is quickly attained by turning the threaded rod and referencing the Levelers's embedded bubble level. Body construction is high grade aluminum alloy. Rods are hardened steel.

To use the Black Bear Studio Systems Track Levelers place the Track Leveler over the ends of all track cross members on a single track section. To secure the track to the Leveler, drop the two tension bars into any of the seven possible hole configurations and tighten from below. Raise or lower the threaded rod to achieve an approximate level. Repeat on the remaining track sections. Connect the track sections to one another and fine tune the track level if necessary.

Black Bear Studio Systems's Track Levelers are available with 6", 8", 12", 18" and 24" rods to attain your desired height. Rods may be interchanged with any Track Leveler. Levelers ship standard with 6" rods. Additional lengths are available as optional accessories.
